Camping to Burraston Ponds

About a month ago we went camping to Burraston Ponds. It was alot of fun to get out and going camping again. We should be going camping a lot this year. I really enjoyed this place too. I am learning how to like Utah and all the cool places to go.
Kylee and Joe went fishing. This place had about 3 ponds to fish in.
Kylee loved that she was going to go fishing with daddy. she loves to help carry things.

Kylee loves that dady helped her fish for a little bit

Kylee doesn't enjoy being in the stroller much anymore and always wants to walk so she wasn't very heppy being in the stroller

Kylee had a ton of fun playing with nathan. She got a wagon and sand toys that she loves to pull around and play with.

Sitting at the camp fire getting ready to cook tip foil dinners. Everytime we go camping we have to have tip foil dinner because they are just so great when camping.

Ty's surgery

Yesterday Ty had his surgery for chordee release and circ. I was really nervous for how he was going to take everything. I was hopping that he would have surgery at 6am but was way off. He was scheduled for surgery at 11:45 but we need to be at the hospital at 11:15. So he couldn't eat anything after midnight but he could have apple juice and water until 8:45am but nothing after that. So Joe wake him up at 11:30 pm to have a bottle. He then woke up at 7am and I gave him a bottle of apple juice. He was just fine and didn't have any problems with just having apple juice. We then left at 8:45 for Teresa's to drop off Kylee. Ty fell asleep in the car which was great. We got to the hospital at 10am because of course I am always early. Ty was then awake and we went into Primary Childrens Hospital to same day surgery. We then checked in and Ty just played. We were taken back to a room to take vitals and Ty got some hospital pjs to put on. They were then taken into the waiting room for surgery.

They had all kinds of toys for the kids to play it. It was so nice to have him occupied. he didn't start to get cranky until about 12:00. Of course they were behind. Dr. O came out and talked to me at 12:30 he explained everything that would happen and if I had any questions. Then the anesthesiologist came out and talked to me about what he was going to do and if I had any questions for him. We then walked out to the doors of the OR and he took him off through the doors. So I didn't get to see anything which I am sure was a good thing but I was kinda interested to see them put him out. And I wouldn't have minded watching the surgery either because I like that stuff.

So he was off to surgery at 12:45 and I didn't get to see him again until 3:45. I was able to go get some lunch and then watched some TV in the waiting room. I really didn't have a problem with him being in surgery I knew he was going to be just fine. He did take a little bit longer to wake up but as soon as he did I was able to go back and see him. He was so cute. He had an IV in his foot, BP cuff in his calf and an O2 sat on his big toe. I was then able to hold him. I loved it, he was so cuddly. He chugged two bottles of apply juice and his vitals were great so we were about to go home at 4:45. He slept the whole way home. Once we got home is was a little cranky but gave him some pain meds and feed him. He then did pretty good and started crawling around. Today he is doing better almost back to normal. He is crawling around like normal and eating fine just needs a little more attention and is crabier then normal. So far pretty good and it can just get better. 4-6 weeks until he is completely healed and then a F/U visit. Everyone at Primary's was so nice and Dr.O was wonderfull!

Camping Conference Weekend

We went camping conference weekend at Antelope Island. It was cold but fun to be out.
So those of you who are wondering yes we got a trailer. All of Joe's family has one and now we are in the in crowd. So we plan on going camping a lot this summer mostly over the weekends. I remember going camping when I was little with our trailer and having a lot of fun and now I want my kids to have fun too. Also I have found there are a lot of good places to go camping so we will be exploring this summer.
We roasted marsmallows by getting everything ready inside then ran outside to roast them and back in to eat it. It was fun.

Kylee on the top bunk. She loves the top bunk and wants to go camping all the time.

Playing with the tea set, she loves to play tea party.

Ty playing on the floor with his toys. He is getting close to crawling.

Ty and Chandler cousins that are only 4 months apart. They will have so much fun when they are a little older. Kylee is 4 months older then her cousin Emily and they have a blast together. and now Ty as an older cousin that is 4 months older, how nice!

What next?

Since I am not coaching year what should I do? Honestly it has been so nice to be at home and not have to worry about anything. But knowing me that won't last long. I need to stay busy. I have applied back at the doctors office I use to work at, I loved that palce. And it just so happened that they have an opening the same time I am interested. I could go coach at Mountain View High with an amazing coach there. Or I can go back to school. I just thought about going back to school the other day. But unlike a job you have the pay not get paid and I love to have extra money so I can go do things I enjoy. So after thinking about school some more I have some more choices with that.

Go to UVU take one class at a time so I can get a 4.0 in my classes so that I can get into the nursing program.

Go to Salt Lake Community College and wait 5 years to get into the nursing program

Go to a trade school like Stevens Henager pay the big bucks but be done in two years.

Lots of choices and now what do I do?

rolling and scootting

This little guy is rolling all over the living room and now starting to scoot. He has some good aim. He rolled across the living room and then scootted back under the entertainment center. Had to take a picture of that one. He is getting so big and is finally thinking about crawling.

Nationals 2010

Nationals was a lot of fun with the girls. We got there Thursday night and stayed until Monday night! They made it to finals and took 5th place! They did awesome and have come so far this year. We had a blast in disneyland and I was able to show the girls how much fun disnayland can be. I loved being able to run and get fastpasses for everyone and going on a ton of rides. I have to thank Aaron for showing me how it's done.
I was able to see my cousin Chad while I was there and that was great!!! He seriously made my day and I wish I could see him more!
Unfortunately I am not with the team anymore. I have had a great time with the girls for the pass two years and will miss them. But of course it's for the best and now I can move on to bigger and better things. I have the choice to go back to the doctors office and work or go be a coach at another school with another amazing coach and build up their program. I am so happy I was able to share some great times with these high school girls.

Gift for my cheer girls

So the latest fad here in Utah is flower clips. The girls love them. So for Senior Night I decided instead of real flowers that die I thought it would be fun to make flower clips. So to make it look better then just clips I put them on sticks and put them in a vase. So they may not all match but they need to have all different colors. Hope they like it as much as real flowers.
