Life with two kids

So I think this is my favorite. Rachel did an awesome job at taking these pictures! I had a hard time figuring out which were my favorite because I love all of them.

He looks so peaceful and I will have to say he is a great baby so far. I fee like I know what I am doing with this one, as with Kylee I felt like I had no idea, because well I really didn't. I know how is all works. I have my days down pretty good, it's the nights that I am still have problems with but he is only 3 weeks old. So I had to break out the Baby Wise book and I started reading that again today. And yes I am reading a book amazing! And it's the second time, that means it must be good right. It's because of Baby Wise that I realized what to do with Kylee. I didn't hear about it until she was 3 months old so I was a little late.

I just got my joggling stroller and I love it! Every morning we go for a walk down to the school and Kylee plays at the playground. It's great because I get my walk in and she gets to play and I can spend time with her. Then we get home and I work in the yard and Kylee gets her budget and shovel out and plays. So we have another win win I get something done and Kylee has fun too.

I have also started up Cheerleading practices again. We started last Monday and they have been going great. One of the girls in our ward comes over and watches Kylee while I take Ty with me to practice. Kylee loves her babysitter and has so much fun with her. It took me a while to get some one from the ward but I finally did it and it has worked out great! So I take Ty to practice with me and he does great. He pretty much sleeps the whole time, which is wonderful.

So that's our life so far. Things are going great and I love to keep myself busy. It's great to have structure to my life. I get up go on a walk, do things around the house, get ready for cheer, go to cheer, get home relax for a bit, make dinner, then I get the evening with Joe. Life is great!

First Pictures

Rachel came by and took some pictures of Ty the other day. Theses are two of her favorite and I can't wait to see more. I love them!

Kylee loves to give her baby brother kisses and hold him, but just for a few seconds then she is done. She's a big help throwing diapers away getting Ty his binky or anything I may need. She is though a little jealous I think. She gets mad when I have to hold him or feed him and she want my attention. So I am working on giving her as much attention as I give Ty. We have been playing outside, coloring, painting, doing puzzles, and reading books. It's great being home with both of them

Ty Joseph Hempel

On July 19th at 4:11pm Ty Joseph Hempel was born weighting in a 7lbs 14 oz and 20.5 inches long. My doctor was so great and induced me at 39 weeks. I went into the hospital at around 9am. They started me at around 11am. Things were going good and I got my epideral around 1pm. I visited with family for about an hour and then the nurse came in to check me. I was a 10 plus 1. Wasn't expecting that so fast. They paged my doctor and I had that baby in just two pushes, that was great! The cord was wrapped around his head twice, but all was ok. The labor with Ty was so much easier then with Kylee, at least I think. My epideral work so much better this time. I didn't feel a single thing, it was awesome!

My mom then brought Kylee down to see me and her new baby brother. When she saw me she looked concerned because I was in bed hooked up to all these machines.

Proud daddy, we have a son now and Joe is so happy. Joe was great for the whole thing. I don't know what I would do without him. He helped me with whatever I needed. He went and got me food many times because I have to say the hosiptal food was horrible! When i had Kylee and Utah Valley they had decend food but at Timpanogos it was nasty! But they did have my favorite shortbread cookie lornadorna so I loaded up on those.

All in all everything went over great and we have a new baby boy!

Cheer Camp

So we just got back from cheer camp today. I am so on top of it already getting a post up. I am usually months behind. I am emailing all the girls pictures so I thought it will just take a minute to write a little and post some pictures. We left Tuesday morning and got back today Friday the 26th.
The girls did an awesome job at camp. They learned so much and are getting so much better! This year we are going to be on top of it and have half times ready along with cheers and sidelines, well because you know me I am crazy orangized. Well at least I think I am. I am so pumped I have half times and sideling danes all picked out for every game. The girls aren't the only ones doing things. We had coaching meeting which was nice so we could see what other coaches did and how the delt with issues. So both the girls and I got a lot done this week.

These girls are so awesome! They all get along so good and we don't really have any issues with any of them. They all work really hard and will do anything you tell them to do, it's awesome! We are already doing stunts that we couldn't do until the end of the year last year. I am just so excited for this year of cheer and to have awesome girls to work with.

And of course Kylee didn't come with me she stayed with Teresa Tues, Thrus, and Fri and Karie on Wed. Joe was so good and got her for the nights. Don't know if she ever really missed me because she had Joe and he never talked about me to avoid the issue that would cause. But I sure did miss her. And of course I am 36 weeks or 8 months pregnant too. So was just a little worry being away for a week being so far ago pregnant. Everyone at camp thought I was a little crazy but that's ok. It was a little hot but I delt with it and everyone was so nice to the pregnant lady. It was fun even though I am so huge!

All in all we had a great time and can't wait to for year to start!!!

Cheer Nationals

Nationals was a blast! First night we got there USA had an 80's party in California Adventure. We got there at 11:30 at night and got back at 2 am. It was awesome have the whole park to just the cheerleaders.

We had so much fun in Disneyland! Even though we didn't do the greatest at Nationals we still had a blast. So we got there Friday night, performed on Saturday, played Saturday night and all day Sunday and Monday. We returned home on Monday night. Our flight went from Salt Lake to Long Beach on Jet Blue. Which I have to say Jet Blue is the best airline ever. You get the watch TV the whole time and the sits are bigger and have more space. And one other thing Long Beach in the smallest airport ever! I think it is even smaller then Modesto. But this was great trip and I can't wait to do this again next year!!! Which is another thing. I am going to be the head coach at Timpanogos High School this next year. I am so excited and have already done so much!

My all time favorite ride now at Disneyland or I guess California Adventure. Toy Story!!! Although I'm not very good it's still fun. I think my highest score was 150,000.

My crazy girls!

Me and Kayla

Just before they performed. And I also have the say playing the music is the scariest thing ever. I had to play the music and it is a huge sound system I thought I was going to mess up the music. But of course I dind't but it was still scary!

We performed at 1:15 pm and were up since 9 getting ready. The girls all had to do their hair and make up the same. Kayla and I were both helping everyone get ready. We also thought it would be fun to do our hair and make up the same.

GUESS WHAT

GUESS WHAT!!! I'm pregnant! Oh wait I've only been pregnant for 24 weeks now. I know I am so lame and never post anything new. So here are some ultrasound pictures. I am so lucky and get ultrasounds all the time. I got some when I was 9 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 17 weeks, and 20 weeks. I found out I was having a boy when I was 16 weeks and it was confirmed at my 20 week ultrasound. We are so excited but can't decide on a name yet. We can't agree on anything. So hopefully we can in the next few weeks.

So I am caughting up now. Here are the Christmas pages I just did. Thanks to Cami I found out how to download free scrapbooking stuff from different websites and therefore I started making more pages for Kylee's scrapbook. So all these pictures are pages in Kylee's scrapbook. This way I get her scrapbook done and I can post the pictures on the blog at the same time. So I am caughting up and should have her Birthday up next. I am so excited. I'm still not as good as Cami and don't know if I will ever get there but I am working on it. I am trying to get more creative on my pages and some days it's harder then others.

So Christmas was great. We stayed in Utah since we went to Disney World for Thanksgiving with my family. We went to Wayne and Julie's for Christmas eve dinner. We had t-bone steaks, mashed potatoes, and salad it was yummy. Then we stayed the night and woke upi Christmas morning at there house. We opened presents around 9 or 10. Kylee was excited but still didn't get the whle idea. She loved the things she got. She got a baby doll and stollor from Santa. She got puzzles and another mickey from grandma and grandpa Barth, a bag to use when going to grandma's house from grandma and grandpa Hempel, then she got a tent, mickey and minnie characters, and an Ariel. She loved the stroller most of all. Although she does throw her baby out of it and puts Minnie in it and pushes her around. It's cute and we love to play with her.
