Life with two kids

So I think this is my favorite. Rachel did an awesome job at taking these pictures! I had a hard time figuring out which were my favorite because I love all of them.

He looks so peaceful and I will have to say he is a great baby so far. I fee like I know what I am doing with this one, as with Kylee I felt like I had no idea, because well I really didn't. I know how is all works. I have my days down pretty good, it's the nights that I am still have problems with but he is only 3 weeks old. So I had to break out the Baby Wise book and I started reading that again today. And yes I am reading a book amazing! And it's the second time, that means it must be good right. It's because of Baby Wise that I realized what to do with Kylee. I didn't hear about it until she was 3 months old so I was a little late.

I just got my joggling stroller and I love it! Every morning we go for a walk down to the school and Kylee plays at the playground. It's great because I get my walk in and she gets to play and I can spend time with her. Then we get home and I work in the yard and Kylee gets her budget and shovel out and plays. So we have another win win I get something done and Kylee has fun too.

I have also started up Cheerleading practices again. We started last Monday and they have been going great. One of the girls in our ward comes over and watches Kylee while I take Ty with me to practice. Kylee loves her babysitter and has so much fun with her. It took me a while to get some one from the ward but I finally did it and it has worked out great! So I take Ty to practice with me and he does great. He pretty much sleeps the whole time, which is wonderful.

So that's our life so far. Things are going great and I love to keep myself busy. It's great to have structure to my life. I get up go on a walk, do things around the house, get ready for cheer, go to cheer, get home relax for a bit, make dinner, then I get the evening with Joe. Life is great!

First Pictures

Rachel came by and took some pictures of Ty the other day. Theses are two of her favorite and I can't wait to see more. I love them!

Kylee loves to give her baby brother kisses and hold him, but just for a few seconds then she is done. She's a big help throwing diapers away getting Ty his binky or anything I may need. She is though a little jealous I think. She gets mad when I have to hold him or feed him and she want my attention. So I am working on giving her as much attention as I give Ty. We have been playing outside, coloring, painting, doing puzzles, and reading books. It's great being home with both of them

Ty Joseph Hempel

On July 19th at 4:11pm Ty Joseph Hempel was born weighting in a 7lbs 14 oz and 20.5 inches long. My doctor was so great and induced me at 39 weeks. I went into the hospital at around 9am. They started me at around 11am. Things were going good and I got my epideral around 1pm. I visited with family for about an hour and then the nurse came in to check me. I was a 10 plus 1. Wasn't expecting that so fast. They paged my doctor and I had that baby in just two pushes, that was great! The cord was wrapped around his head twice, but all was ok. The labor with Ty was so much easier then with Kylee, at least I think. My epideral work so much better this time. I didn't feel a single thing, it was awesome!

My mom then brought Kylee down to see me and her new baby brother. When she saw me she looked concerned because I was in bed hooked up to all these machines.

Proud daddy, we have a son now and Joe is so happy. Joe was great for the whole thing. I don't know what I would do without him. He helped me with whatever I needed. He went and got me food many times because I have to say the hosiptal food was horrible! When i had Kylee and Utah Valley they had decend food but at Timpanogos it was nasty! But they did have my favorite shortbread cookie lornadorna so I loaded up on those.

All in all everything went over great and we have a new baby boy!
